FINAL PROJECT

Here is the final project that has been so longly anticipated. The History on my family.

It started here with myself asking questions, to both my mother and father, to learn more about our background and heritage. I recieved some really good information from them, but it wasnt enough.

Next I decided to email my maternal grandmother for more information on that side of the family. She sent me some really good information that i could now use to help further discover my family.

With all this information, I created a limited Family Tree off of what the elders in my family knew.

And with all this information, one could make some pretty cool designs like these.

I agree with the point he is making. we do need to start realying on ourselves instead of our phones, but i dont see the point in total diconnection. His point is right, but his method isnt. if we all disconnect like he wants us to then we will never advance. I know that texting all the time isnt the way to have conversations or live life; and I know to put my phone away while hanging out with others, but we still need them and its technologies to help us advance and become more connected to each other. instead of having seperate societies we could have one large on that might cease war in our world. that is what i think.

After my four years of being in highschool i feel like this guy is right. this is what we talk about in Mr. Mowry's class sometimes. the main point of school is not the learning or the way you learn, but rather to overcome challenges presented to you in a manner that will help you grow. school is meant for you to learn, but sadly it only teaches you how to learn, not actually learning itself. i know homeschool kids that have the same education level as i do, but havent entered a school a day in their lives. "The main event" is overcoming the adversity you face in high school and college because one day it wont be as easy as it has been through highschool and if you are used to giving up then you are screwed.

Reflect on your stop-motion animation project. How did it go? What worked? What didn't work? If you're not finished - why? If you are finished go in to detail about the project and what you learned. Give as much detail and information as possible.

Well I didnt do mine well enough and I knew that right from the start. My lighting and camera stability were very poor along with my idea. I finished and made it look better but I probably shoulnt have used a filter thing on it since that also made it confusing. I learned how to use movie maker though and I now know how to use it to my advantage. Overall it was a fun project, I just wish I made it better and spent more time on it.

Im going with the ida to use inanimate objects to make a scene. Im going to take a soccer ball and tape a face to it and travel around with it this weekend. Since I'm going on a 10 hour bus ride I will take my pictures then. I'm going to move it around the bus with different faces and have it do some fun things. Today I will learn more about it and even start thinking about what I should make the ball do.

Stop motion animation is where you use inanimate objects and slightly move them every frame so it looks like they are actually moving. its like what they use in the lego movie.

Tell me about your 5 frame storyboard. What did you like about the project? What did you dislike? Was it hard to fit a story in to 5 images? Do you think you tell a clear story? What would you do differently if you could? Explain

My storyboard tells a story about myslef. I'm late to an event and my car wont start so I have to walk. It was fun taking th pictures but a real pain in the butt trying to upload them. My story was short enough that I could fit in into the 5 frames. Next time I would use an actual camera though

I actually do not know what storyboard really is. I've heard it a couple of times but I really don't know. It probably has something to do with putting photos together to make a story. And then you put these stories on a board. That's my best guess at what it is.

Prepare yourself... I want you to really THINK about this blog post. I mean really use your brain. What is the significance of an infographic? What is the point of pairing graphics and information together? What impact can this have on a reader or viewer. EXPLAIN.

An Infographic can realy importantant information to a reader faster with a more creative fashion. The pairing of graphics and information can be really benefical, it will put the information givin into prospective for the reader because the graphic will show what the words actually are trying to tell you. This can leave the image embedded into the readers brain, and help them remember it better.

I would write a three page paper honestly. I could convey my point to my readers better and get more information in. Plus I am a better writer then making a picture look good.

As of right now I am almost finished with this essay. I have completed the 5 paragraphs and just need to add the works cited page and in text citations. It was pretty easy to write thanks to the help of the brainstorming project before hand. It helped get my paper organized.

My coach is my role model in life. he played for the United States team in soccer and has won many prestigious awards. But right now he is becoming a doctor along with his wife. He has always pushed me to be my best and get the best out of everything I do. he has taught me many life lessons on and off the field and has basically made me the person I am today.

Global Terrorism would be the thing that i would try to fix. People shouldn't have to go throughout life with the fear of impending death just waiting around the corner. You should be able to live life without the fear of dying at every moment just because some one else wants to make a point.

  A PSA is like a commercial that goes out to the people that is on a subject that effects people everyday. An advertisement to stop drug use or bullying or some other topic. It's suppose to inflict feeling to the viewer to try to make them act against it or spread the word. It's meant to be viewed by everyone.

This was a pretty average break.  I played some soccer and saw a couple movies, so basically it was like any other weekend for me. Beside those two things my car broke down and caught on fire, so nothing out of the usual.

What have you learned about Google Drive and Google Presentation so far? What do you like about it? What problems have you run in to? Is it better than PowerPoint? Explain.

  This program is almost exactly the same as PowerPoint. Although there are a couple more features it does have like the no saving feature. By this i mean that you don't need to save every ten minutes or even at all, the program does it automatically. It is limited in some things though. Like it doesn't have as many features as PowerPoint or other things have. Overall it is a quick and easy way to finish things and get it done.

"Images on the internet are 'free game' - if someone posted I should be able to use it. I don't agree with this statement because it suggest that a person who originally posted a picture doesn't deserve the credit for it. Citing an image will give the original author the credit that he or she deserves so that people know who actually had that idea. Images on the internet are in someones possession and not giving them credit is like stealing from them.

This semester I want to learn how to use Google Chrome better. Most of the colleges I have visited have said that they use Google Chrome constantly and I have no idea how to use the full extent of it. I want to learn how to use Google Chromes abilities so that I can be adequately fit for college. I also want to know how to use blogs to my advantage.
